This is operational data for running Sahoolat AI. It is not collected to sell to advertisers, build ad profiles, or show you third-party targeted ads.

We do not:

  • Sell your personal information
  • Use your data for third-party advertising or ad networks
  • Share your data with data brokers for marketing purposes

In the mobile app: Settings → Privacy shows the same summary—your information is sent through our APIs, stored securely, and used only to operate Sahoolat AI (account, jobs, chat, payments, support, and notifications).

2.1 With Service Providers and Sellers

When you post a job or shopping list, we share relevant information with:

  • Nearby service providers who may bid on your jobs
  • Local shops and stores who can fulfill your shopping lists
  • Information shared includes: job/shopping requirements, location area, budget ranges, and contact preferences

2.2 With Service Partners

We may share information with:

  • Payment processors (for secure transactions)
  • Cloud hosting providers (for data storage)
  • Diagnostic and reliability tools (such as Firebase/React Native diagnostics and Microsoft Clarity) only to understand crashes, performance, and app usage—not for ads
  • OpenAI (for AI chat processing only after you consent to AI data sharing)
  • Communication services (for notifications and messages)
  • Identity verification services

2.3 Business Transfers

In connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity.

4. AI Chat and OpenAI

SahoolatAI uses OpenAI to generate AI chat responses. When you use AI chat features, the content you provide may be sent to OpenAI for processing. This may include your chat messages, uploaded content, and any location information you choose to use in a location-based request.

This information is sent to OpenAI to process your request and generate a response. You can choose not to allow AI data sharing. If you decline, AI chat features that require OpenAI processing will not be available. You can change your AI data sharing choice in the app's Privacy settings.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as:

  • Your account remains active
  • Necessary to provide our services
  • Required by law or for legitimate business purposes

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. In the mobile app, you can initiate deletion from Settings > Delete My Account without contacting support. You may also contact us for assistance.

  • Update your profile information anytime

6.3a AI Data Sharing Choice

You can enable or disable AI data sharing (including sharing with OpenAI) in the app's Privacy settings. If you decline AI data sharing, AI chat features that require OpenAI processing will not be available.

6.4 Opt-Out Rights

  • Limit location use in the app when location features are optional
  • Control AI data sharing in Privacy settings

6.5 Data Processing Objection

  • Object to certain data processing activities
  • Restrict specific uses of your data
